Outlook Overview: Changeable and rather unsettled.Thursday night: Lingering rain across eastern counties will soon clear into the Irish Sea with some showers feeding into Atlantic counties; otherwise dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds.Friday: The day will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, turning heavy later in the afternoon and evening across east and northeast counties. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees in light to moderate west to southwest winds. Dry Friday night under broken cloud apart from isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 15 degrees, coolest across western counties, all in light southeast or variable breezes.Saturday: Generally dry with sunny spells but some scattered showers will occur too. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees with mostly light southerly breezes. Thundery bursts of rain will move in across the country during the night, though some areas will escape dry. Sunday: Thundery showers, merging into longer spells of rain, in places into Sunday with spot flooding, local hail and lightning. Some warm spells of sunshine in parts too.
